Today a blood sample from Goody shows that she is pregnant!

March 28

Airescot Goody Goody has been bred to Airescot Merry Christmas, "Tarzan",
owned by Christer Ivarsson and Peter Hellholm, kennel Party-Line's.
 We are hoping for this very special litter medio May.
Quite closely bred Goody and Tarzan are vey similar in type,
with typical heads and expressions, lovely harsh, very black coats and happy, mischievious temperaments.

Below is a picture of the two, courting on the sofa, followed by a 5 generation pedigree of the planned litter,
kindly made up for us by Pilar in Spain.

On request, as a proof of their existence,
 pictured below at the age of 4 days are Micki's tvo male puppies by Hector,
Airescot Snow Racer and Airescot Snow Scooter.

Hopefully more interesting pictures will follow later.

January 13

Late in the evening of January 11th "Micki", Terrietype I'm Jane Airescot, gave birth to her third litter,
this time by Ch Winterkloud Hector.
She followed the pattern of her previous litters by having a quick and easy whelping
and producing two boys and two girls, very even in size and so far looking very healthy.

The puppies in her previous litter were named after the heavy rain falling over us when they were born.

To keep following Micki's pattern these puppies will be called Airescot Snow Racer, Snow Scooter, Snow Crystal and Snow Flake.

2009

December 14

During the first half of 2010 we hope to have two Affenpinscher litters.
The first one is already well on its way.

Terrietype I'm Jane Airescot "Micki" has been bred to our Winterkloud Hector
and she has now declared herself in whelp. Her litter is expected around 10th of January.

We also hope that "Madicken", Avantgarde Moonshine Madness Madam, will come in season any day now.
She will then be bred to Airescot Good Fellow (Ch Winterkloud Hector ex. Schnaffentangens Gimme Gimme),
a litter brother to our bitch Airescot Goody Goody and to Airescot Good Will, who has been so successful
in the Norwegian show rings. Good Fellow is owned by Liz-Beth Liljeqvist, Qliz Newfoundlands, Sweden.

Frejya's puppies by Hairy Potter were four weeks old when they were kindly pictured by Alfred Hove,
kennel Oceanwild, Norway.

As this litter is the result of Summer Love in England
the boys are named Airescot Summer Affection and Airescot Summer Attraction,
the girls Airescot Summer Fascination and Airescot Summer Temptation.

August 25

This morning Frejya gave birth to her litter by GB Ch Linsgift Hairy Potter, two boys and two girls.
They were born a few days earlier than expected but mother and puppies are thriving after an easy whelping.

kindly made up for us by Pilar Hannan, Spain, who has also taken the picture of "Gus".

At almost 6 weeks our Rain puppies are enjoying life, pictured by Carl-Emil.

Yesterday, June 14 on the 63rd day from the first mating, Micki gave birth to her four puppies in one hour and ten minutes,
a quick and easy whelping just as the one she had with her Christmas litter in 2007.
And again she had two males and two bitches, very even and very black.
They were born after a very wet walk in the woods in pouring rain and will be amply named
Airescot Raincoat, Rainman, Rainbow and Raindrop. They are pictured below 17 hours old.

In February we announced plans for breeding "Micki", Terrietype I'm Jane Airescot,
to a young Tarcalion dog in England. When Micki was ready to be mated
it was quickly found out that this little dog had no idea of what was expected of him,
very untypical for this breed as everyone knows who has tried to avoid accidental matings.

But we are just as excited about the litter we are now hoping for.
April 12th and 13th Micki was mated by "Gus", Ch Uncle Urkle at Cransbere,
a dog we have much admired both in England and when he stayed in the US with Beth Sweigart.
His sire Ch Avantgarde Prince Rupert at Cransbere is also the sire of our Ch Winterkloud Hector,
so we hope to be able to confirm the type we so much aim at producing.

"Micki" comes from the first Swedish bred litter by our American import Ch Yarrow's Jungle Jim, "Ross", ex. Ch Anzolas Tiril.
She gave birth to an Airescot Christmas litter in December 2007 by Ch Anzolas Vincent Black Shadow.
from which the two dogs and two bitches have all been shown with considerable success.
Micki herself has only been to one official show, where she was awarded the CC and was third best bitch.

Autumn 2009 we hope for another litter,
this time out of Avantgarde Moonshine Madness Madam bred to Winterkloud Hector

Hector arrived in Sweden in April 2008 just in time to mate our bitch Schnaffentangen's Gimme Gimme
and thus sire his first four puppies. He has had a lovely start to his Swedish show career by so far winning 6 CC's and two CACIB's,
several times with BOB and a couple of group placings.
All this in spite of being shown in turns with our other youngster, Airescot Peer Gynt, who has now moved to Australia.
Hector was #2 among the top winning Affenpinschers in Sweden 2008,
only beaten for the top spot by his kennelmate Ch Winterkloud Frejya.

Madicken has only been shown twice in Sweden, winning two CC's from Junior class.

At last we have managed to take a couple of snapshots of our Affenpinscher puppies, six weeks old today,

by Airescot Peer Gynt ex. Winterkloud Frejya.

December 21

The day before yesterday, December 19, Frejya without any problems gave birht to her litter by Airescot Peer Gynt.
Disappointing to all who were hoping to have a puppy from this litter, as there were only two of them, a male and a bitch.

In these days of Christmas Greeting cards they have been amply named
Airescot Merry Christmas (the boy) and Airescot Happy New Year.
They are very well taken care of by their proud mother,

and as you can see on the picture below they are fat and shiny.

UPDATE October 17

Time for some information about our Affenpinscher Breeding plans.

Today, October 17, Winterkloud Frejya was bred to Airescot Peer Gynt.
Litter expected medium December. Below is the pedigree of the litter we so much hope for.

Today, when Gimmi's puppies by Hector are three weeks old,
they still look so much alike that we can hardly see the difference.
The girl is named Airescot Goody Goody, the boys are A. Good Fellow, Good Sense and Good Will.

Yesterday Gimmi very quickly and easily gave birth to four lovely puppies, all black,
three males and one bitch. Our young Winterkloud Hector is the proud sire.

you can possibly see that there are four puppies!

Winterkloud Hector, born April 2, 2007, celebrated his first birthday by mating our bitch Schnaffentangens Gimmi Gimmi.
He has just arrived from England and will soon have his own page here with more information, pictures and pedigree.
He is by GB Ch Avantgarde Prince Rupert of Cransbere ex. Winterkloud Liberty, an older full sister of our successful Winterkloud Frejya.
Hector was qualified for Crufts 2008, where he was the winner of five in Puppy Dog.
He's very full of himself and we look forward to Gimmi's litter by him in the beginning of June.
From her first litter, by "Ross", Ch Yarrow's Jungle Jim, Airescot Peer Gynt is now 10 months old.

As we won't get the helping hand with taking puppy pictures, which we had expected this week,
here are the 5½ week pictures taken last week, with the help of Ilona.

UPDATE  February 1

Finally, kindly assisted by our guest Ilona from Latvia, we managed to take some snapshots

of our four Affenpinscher puppies, now 5½ weeks old.

We also took some nice individual and stacked pictures of them,
but to rely on daylight giving enough light for those shots was not one of my better ideas,
so next week we'll have another try with stacked pictures and hope for a better result.

UPDATE January 22

Today Micki's Christmas puppies are four weeks old and enjoying each other and their minced meat.
Next week we'll try to take some individual pictures.
No doubt it's very difficult to take good pictures of this furry black breed.

Micki's four Christmas puppies, now two weeks old, have just opened their eyes,
but in the snapshot below they still only come out as black lumps.

The boys are named Airescot Christmas Cracker and A. Christmas Gift,
the bitches A. Christmas Carol and A. Christmas Eve.

UPDATE December 27

Christmas Day, December 25, "Micki" quickly and easily gave birth to four puppies by "Knutte".
In the Update below you'll find information and pedigree of the litter,
so today we'll just add that there are two males and two bitches in this lovely litter.

UPDATE October 30

October 23 "Micki", Terrietype I'm Jane Airescot,
 was bred to "Knutte", Anzolas Vincent Black Shadow, still a youngster
but already winner of several CC's in Sweden and currently #4 on the Swedish Affenpinscher list for 2007.
Apart from at the Swedish Affenpinscher Specialty, reported on in the Update below, Micki has only been shown once
 and was then awarded the bitch CC. She is sired by "Ross", Ch Yarrow's Jungle Jim, in his first Scandinavian litter.
"Ross" was Sweden's top winning Affenpinscher in 2006 and is the current top winner also for 2007.

"Micki" is not small but very sound and has a wonderful temperament.
"Knutte" is of lovely size, has a great temperament and is, like Micki, very happy in the ring.
If all goes well we expect the litter to be born on Christmas Eve - perfect timing, indeed!

as in 2007 we have had our first Affenpinscher litter and are expecting a second one.

June 5 our bitch Schnaffentangens Gimmi Gimmi gave birth to two puppies,
of which only the male Airescot Peer Gynt came out alive.
He is sired by Ch Yarrow's Jungle Jim.
Peer is still owned by Airescot and has his own page on this website.

Now, in October 2006, breeding Affenpinschers doesn't seem so far away
as it did in June.

Next Summer we hope to breed Gimmi Gimmi to Ross,
and late next year we might possibly breed "Micki" to a new import.

Breeding Airescot Affenpinschers seems very far away when we write June 2006
 

So far we only have two bitch puppies,
Schaffentangens Gimmi Gimmi and Terrietype I'm Jane Airescot,
but in due course we hope for Airescot puppies playing like these above.

At this stage we are very pleased that "Ross" has already sired three lovely litters in Sweden
with a fourth one on its way.
