UPDATE 21 December
From the Finnish Kennel Club we have received the
picture below, taken by Adolfo Vera,
of Broomie winning Group III at the Helsinki Nordic Winner show last weekend.
Group judge this day 2 was Marie-Christine Delabelle, who judged the breed at
the Finnish Winner show the previous day.
Group judge day 1 was Unto Timmonen, who then gave Broomie Group II,
and the following day she was also his BOB-winner.

UPDATE 12 December
Yesterday, at the Stockholm International show,
"Broomie" made one of her rare appearances in the show rings this year.
We were quite thrilled that she ended up BOB, judged by Jean-Luis Grunheid,
France,
and Group IV, judged by John Reeve-Newson, Canada.
From Peter Hjalmarsson we just received the two
pictures below.
Best male, judged by Göran Bodegård, Sweden, and BOS was Ch Adagio No Regrets
(Multi Ch Adagio Love Supreme ex. Ch Fennaur Emmeline Pankhurst),
bred by Stefan Råghammar and owner handled by Maria Jönsson Jansson.


UPDATE 17 May
At the two Norwegian Sighthound Specialties 14-15 May
Broomie was second Best Bitch and third Best Bitch resp.
both times beaten only by other Airescots or bitches owned by Airescot.

showing me with Red Redee, and Broomie, handled by Åge Gjetnes.

Broomie's puppies are now just over 5 months old. Here are

They all seem to be developing well and so far live up to their early promise.

UPDATE 6 December 2004
At a Championship show for all breeds in Vilnius, Latvia,
yesterday
Airescot Bridgewater Bobbie made his show debut, winning BOB Whippet Puppy and
then BIS of 30 BOB Puppies.

then from ringside winning BOB Puppy and finally winning BIS Puppy with judge
Beata Petkevicha, Latvia.



UPDATE 11 November 2004
From Broomie's litter Airescot Barlake Broomie is now the
only one of Broomie's puppies still with the Airescots.
She will be staying with us, she is called "Suzie" and is pictured below at 3
months.

No individual puppy pictures this week but today we managed
to take the snapshots below.
The puppies are now 5 ½ weeks and enjoying life, as you can see.

UPDATE 13 September 2004
Viv Coulter, Collooney Whippets, from Northern Ireland has been visiting us over the weekend to see
if she still wanted to have her puppy Airescot Wintergarden (Ch Sporting Fields
Irish Mist ex. Ch Airescot Serene Silver)
when allowed into England by the end of October.
Sadly enough Viv did not change her mind, so "Nina" will be leaving us, but we
know that she'll be taken well care of
and get a wonderful home in Ireland.
On Sunday, Broomie's puppies were four weeks, and Viv
helped us stack them a first time for picturing.
As expected some of them were more co-operative than the others, as you can see
below.

Today, at 3 weeks, the puppies are enjoying their minced
meet.
The two bitches are eating beside each other at the bottom of the picture.

but they have now opened their eyes and are running around, fat and happy.

Sunday August 15 Broomie gave birth to her first litter,
sired by Ch Airescot Bob Fest.
Four males and two bitches.

UPDATE 2 June 2004
In eight days Broomstick suddenly gained her
Swedish, Norwegian and Estonian titles.
May 23rd she won her second Swedish CC at the SKK show in Stenungsund,
judged by Tina Permo, Per-Mobile Whippets.
The third and qualifying CC was awarded to Broomstick by Göran Bodegård
at the SKK show at Österbybruk May 29th. She had won her first Swedish CC
and a Norwegian CC from junior class, judged by Unto Timmonen (Woodbrook
Whippets)
and Norman Huidoro Corbett resp.
May 30th our Whippets were the first from Sweden to make use of the possibility
to be shown in Estonia, one of the countries which joined the European Market
on May 1st, 2004. At the Estonian KC:s International show in Tallinn Kari Engh
was judging the Whippets. She gave the bitch CC, CACIB and BOB to Broomstick
and the dog CC, CACIB and BOS to Ch Airescot Bob Fest.
These wins made both of them Estonian champions.
Broomstick was placed Group III by judge Soile Bister from Finland.
UPDATE 7 October 2002
From Junior Class Broomie won her first CC
and was third Best Bitch
at the Norwegian KC International show in Fredrikstad October 5-6.
