Chess is the most devoted mother and still prefers to spend most of her time with her now 4 weeks old puppies.

In two of the pictures below the puppies are from left to right:
Primer, Primrose, Primetime and Primula. In the third picture they have disorganized themselves a little bit.

Two weeks old Chess' puppies have grown into fat, healthy and lovely toads.

March 18

Tonight Chess quickly and easily gave birth to her second litter, this time by Ch Carmodey Prima Tutto.
You can see his picture under the January 21 Update below, and this is the Pedigree of the  litter.

The puppies are pictured here only a couple of hours old., two males and two bitches.
One male and one bitch are blue fawn brindle, one male is redbrindle & white and one bitch is red & white.

This time Nature has been very co-operative as it decided to let Chess whelp already tonight.
Tomorrow I'm off on a badly timed but long ago planned trip and will be away for a fortnight.
Chess and her babies and the rest of our gang will be in the very best of hands here at home,
but it was great to be able to attend this easy whelping myself.
One or two of these puppies might still be for sale, so if you would be interested in any of them,
please send a mail to nenne.runsten@telia.com and I'll get back to you in the very beginning of April,
when there will also be new pictures of the litter.

February 25

After five weeks there is no doubt about it. Chess is in whelp.

January  21

January 20th Chess was bred to Ch Carmodey Prima di Tutto,
bred and owned by Lena and Peter Hjalmarsson and pictured below by Peter.
